OTHER LAST MINUTE IDEAS~
Framed poem in your handwriting: This is super easy. Grab some stationery and transcribe a poem in your best cursive — “Mother’s Smile” by Michael Burch is a good option. Sign and date it, then tuck it into a pretty, inexpensive frame for mom.

Chores: Mothers have a never-ending to-do list, so why not help out? On Sunday, devote time to taking over some of her chores, like dropping off dry cleaning, grocery shopping or cleaning the bathroom. Let her relax while you take care of things.

Gift basket: Can’t decide what to get your mom? OK, give her a little of everything. Buy a pretty basket and artfully arrange items such as her favorite candy, nail polish, tea and lotion.

CSA membership: Delicious locally grown produce is trendy these days. So how about signing your mom up for a community-supported agriculture program that will provide fresh produce frequently. Search for one here.

Class: Sign your mother up for a fun class where she can learn to do something new — cook a new type of cuisine, decorate a cake, speak another language or sew a quilt. Check your local craft supply store to see if there’s a DIY project she might love.
